Dr. King Wong (Doctor of Colors)
Dr. Wong practices "Myopia Prevention and Control" that goes beyond the 100 year old Bates Method. This unique and revolutionary new approach for children and adults, uses the latest in technology and science-based evidence.
He has devoted a major portion of his career to working with ophthalmologists - specializing in pediatric eye care and low vision.He is certified to prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents (TPA) and manage glaucoma.
Dr. Wong received his B.A. degree in Theoretical Mathematics from U.C.L.A. (Deans Scholar). He earned his O.D. degree from the Southern College of Optometry (Deans Scholar) in 1983, prior to completing an externship in pediatric optometry at the Gesell Institute of Human Development & Behavioral Optometry on the campus of Yale University.
He is multi-lingual and thus able to better serve the diverse population of this community.
